We came of age at the death rattle of the music business. At the turn of the millennium, right when our bands were forming and our careers should have been ready to launch, the bottom fell out. As a result, what it meant to be “signed” or have a “label” seemed to change overnight. After all the dust settled, the industry has changed. The freedom to create and publish is better than ever. The ability to stand out has never been harder.
Here at Last 3 Punks, we believe in a certain timeless tradition. There will always be amazing music, and there will never be enough avenues to unleash it to the world. So we’re doing our part. The people behind Last 3 Punks have - in some cases - been signed to record labels, big and small, and in other cases, have worked for record labels, big and small. We live in different U.S. cities. We have eclectic musical tastes and talents.
Whatever our differences, what we have in common is a desire to share great music, and we’re in it for the long haul. First three punks, last three punks.
