Marc M Cogman's 5th LP - Nothing is Fantastic - remastered vinyl release

Marc M Cogman is currently finishing up recording on his 10th LP, but many other exciting projects are in the works concerning his back catalog. While everything from 2020’s Dead Messengers through 2025’s Heritage, Legacy, and the Blood-Red Dirt received a dual digital and vinyl release, the front half of his catalog has never been available in this form. Cogman’s first four full-length releases came out on digitally and on CD, and his fifth album - somewhat caught between the two choices for physical release, only came out digitally in 2017.

Cogman has long sought to remedy that, and plans have been in the works to release all the early albums on vinyl as well. The first such release has finally arrived: on March 20, 2026, Last 3 Punks will issue a new vinyl version of Cogman’s fifth record Nothing is Fantastic, marking - for that particular album - the first time it’s available in any physical media.

Joe Napolitano’s original 2017 mixes were totally remastered at Black Belt in Seattle, Washington, and Eddie Simon’s gorgeous artwork has finally been given the treatment it deserves. This new pressing of Nothing is Fantastic sounds amazing, truly bringing to life Cogman and the Dead Messengers’ foray into mid 90’s guitar rock.
